Taken this evening 1st April 2009 – cloudless evening but windy as hell, blowing me and the tripod everywhere.

Took a 50km drive down the coast, family in tow and this was the first image I fired this evening.

Cape Egmont Lighthouse with Mt Egmont in the Background, about 30mins before sunset.

Shot with Sony a350 Sony16-105 lens
50mm, ISO100, f/13 at 1/200sec and polarising filter

    Great composition Dean. The lighthouse really sets off the central positioning of the mountain. Love the different levels of the fence, the hill, the mountain, and the sky…..again very well seen :) Beautiful image bud :)
