This is taken south of Stratford looking inland to the deep back country of Taranaki. It’s a beautiful slice of NZ and is what is fondly referred to here as the Wop Wops! – in other words the back of beyond and far away!

Love the saturated colours here!!
thanks Vik, to be honest, it’s pretty much as is. I’ve brought out the clarity and colours. But it was getting late in the afternoon and we were driving back from a friends house (they recently bought a farmlet in the middle of all that!) The sun was low and shot with Polarising filter. Gave it some great shadows

Oh this is beautiful Dean. NZ is such a glorious country, and after seeing this, I so want to visit it again! Nice one!
I just viewed this in the larger format Dean! It’s a must to get the full beauty and panoramic effect…. just gorgeous, well done!
thank you so muchfor thinking so… yes, as with panoramas and landscapes – it has to be viewed bigger to appreciate the photo.
I really like this one:o) well, I guess that’s why I put it up :o)
Wow incredible shooting!!
Wonderful landscape Dean, love the dramitic clouds and crop, great work
Amazingly beautiful my friend! The way the shadows from the clouds play chase across the surface is beautiful. What a stunning view. I really must visit NZ someday! Well done.
So much better when viewed large – super panorama
Definately view it large, what an amazing looking place. Superb shot Dean.
Makes me homesick!! Love it….
