Latest Update, features and Gossip (but no baby yet!)
HI guys,
Well I thought I would give you an update on all that’s been going on around here and finally introduce you to the features I’ve had over the past couple of months or so…
I do this BEFORE the baby arrives as I might not get a chance to be as active in the coming weeks other than to post countless baby photos online!
Today is D-Day – that is “Due Day” so I expect the next chapter of my life’s journey to start this week, it’s a little daunting to be honest. Don’t know what to expect or how it will change my life – and until now I can only guess at how, but all for the better I’m sure.
I’ve now had 14 features and a few have featured in more than one group. I’ve surpassed 3,500 views and hopefully some of the photos have made people think – “Well that’s cool” or “ I like that, wow” – that’s all I hope for from the work I put up here. Well that or just sharing with you friends a little slice of me!
The Kina I took down the beach was features in the New Zealand Made Group.
I have one more picture to put up for this series and that is of it finally turned into just a shell – so I’ll do that soon.
My White Tail Spider *was features in 2 groups! – *Arachnids and 1:1 Macro Photography – of which was very cool
From Mexico, my old lady selling peaches was 2nd in the Elderly Group – Challenge ‘People at work’ – beaten (again) by George!! (but well deserved) and subsequently featured in the group
Rusting Rivet was featured in two groups as well – I do love this pic – the colours are so vibrant. It was featured in the Abstract Macro Urban Art Group and 1:1 Macro Photography group
Two features for Katrina and the Baby
Waiting… Was featured in the group – The Human Condition. Two Angels was featured in New Zealand Made group (although I have to confess it isn’t Made in New Zealand but Made in Mexico….!!.) I must thank everyone for all the comments they put. I wasn’t too sure about putting these up but glad I did.
Finally my floodlit waterfall in the local park was featured in the >>> Movement: Motion Blur group
(thanks Kristen/Kory)
Well, the past week or so – there hasn’t been much activity online for me…But I do thank each and every one of you who takes the time to view my art. I do stop by everyone’s work to see what you’re all up to – most of the time not leaving comments, just soaking up your genius :o)
See you next time – with more news…~:op)
