Great shot Dean!! Love the leading lines. Awesome sunset!!!
PS: Am glad you’re back to shooting as well as I know I can see your pics on RB – but there’s no way I could remotely watch Miss Saigon!!
Dean Mullin replied
Cheers Vik, still recovering – it took it’s toll on the bod that’s for sure.
yeah – pretty happy to turn this one out tonight :o)

WOW! So worth the wait Mr. Mullin! Fantastic composition and I LOVE all the different colours in this…..absolutely gorgeous Dean :) Welcome back ;)
Dean Mullin replied
yay, thanks Shelly :o) – good to come back with an instant hit… Roll on Summer I say.!
Lisa Taylor
Stunning composition and colour, the sea looks incredible, definitely worth the loss of the filter. Well done Dean.
Dean Mullin replied
thank you Lisa, from a fellow Naki person! :o) glad you like this one. Can’t believe it, took the filter out and put it down on the jetty and the wind picked it up and plop! FAARRRKKK I shouted
Ursula Rodgers
Marvellous work Dean! You are inspiring me to get some filters! Though I bet you don’t want to hear the word ‘filter’ right now. Bummer!
Dean Mullin replied
Thanks Ursula – I will have to replace it – as it’s a necessary filter to shut down the sky a bit but the other filters are all so easily and handily available in CS4! :o)
Bradley Shawn ...
Fantastically awesome. Wonderful lighting, composition, and use of leading lines into and throughout the shot. A perfect use of Thirds. Such a lovely smooth texture to the water. Sorry about the filter loss. There are therapy groups for that you know. ROTFLOL! I hope you do replace it soon. I don’t want anything to deter you from taking more brilliant shots like this. When you get a chance, bmail me about the play. Tell me all about Miss Saigon! Can’t wait to hear all about it.
Dean Mullin replied
thanks Shawn, pretty happy with this one… I’d spotted the angle whilst out walking along the breakwater to the port and thought – ooo that might make a good shot… – we’ll catch up soon and I’ll tell you all about the show – it was awesome btw. but incredibly taxing and it took it’s toll all right.
Lee-Anne Raffe...

Dean Mullin replied
Thanks lee-anne – so glad you like it – I’ve been away from the photos a few months and it’s good to be able to have the time to get back shooting
