Droplets

Droplets

Well – I came home at lunchtime and the droplets on the grass grabbed me:o) Now that I have my macro lens – everything is standing out.

This was the pick of the crop for me so I’m sharing with you all. I love the way the droplet seems to be hanging in mid air – but it was just on the edge of the leaf. The reflection inside must be from the ground below

Hope you like it

The crisp clarity is remarkable.. the tiny little hairs on the leaf, the reflection in the droplet. Stunning!

  • Dean Mullin replied

Thanks Rachel – it’s one fo the first I’ve taken with the Macro lens that have come out as good as the lens should deliver – so I’m pleased with it… The old Macro lenses aren’t the easiest to work with :o)

Dean, this is fantastic, straight to favorites. Wonderful clarity and colors and love the little reflection on the droplet. Great eye!

  • Dean Mullin replied

Thanks DiEtte, don’t think I saw that through the lens – it was so small. – Even at f6 the DoF is so small, and i was contending with not only my own shaky hands but the breeze blowing too. This just turned out right – :o) makes it all worthwhile eh!
