Rusting Rivet
Just after finishing taking pictures of the Kina, I was stumbling back over the rocks and came across a bright Rusty piece of ….... well something!
Sun was setting, bright amazing colours were being shone back at me and thought – yeah!
personally I like this image for it’s pin sharp detail and the juxtaposition between the round bolt and the straight edge especially with the blues on top.
it was probably a well rusted iron girder but bent and rusted beyond recognition by the sea and rocks…

I believe that the technical term for it is “thingamajiggy”, which of course is used to keep whtasamacallits together (duh!) ;-)
