"Torment of Patience Spent" - the image

I wait by the sea
we’ve never met
but our souls have been entwined
for centuries long
Your spirit spins through my heart
and through my core
like a cleansing rain
that fills the crevices left by time
Like music, you breath deep into me
sweeping away the bruises of life
with your love
I feel you when I close my eyes
and listen to the sound
that makes my heart sing yet yearn
for your presence
upon, within, around me
We may never meet
but I know you’re there
in this life
....or another

I wrote the poem first, but felt the need for an image to go with it, so here it is – this is a reworked version of Voyager Dreaming.
