bicycle bike saddle frame basket fence flowers shed keys
Oh, I love this one! It reminds me of my childhood. I used to love to go out on my bicycle – a blue “Hurricane” and my father got me a basket to go on the front. My cat, Whiskers, was very docile and was quite happy to lie in the basket and be driven about the neighbourhood! This scandalized the neighbours, but I only ever went down quiet streets at that age. I was not allowed on the main road and Whiskers could have hopped out any time he wanted to, but he was quite happy where he was. If you could have seen the expressions on some of their faces…!!! It makes me chuckle even now, several decades later. A favourite for sure!
I’m so pleased this has brought back some good memories for you – I would have loved to have seen some of those faces! I can just imagine some older ladies with their arms crossed and tutting as you went past LOL Very many thanks, Kathryn :-)

Beautiful but dangerous (in my hands) ;-)
Em.. yes I can imagine your pain as you find every pothole :) :) And then end up in one with a puddle and nearly drown !
