It was cold, bleak and cold!
Went back 2 yrs later in the summer, wow, what a difference. Well worth a visit. Great history there too.

Great shot, it brings back a lot of memory for me I use to mow the lawn that this barn is sitting in I use to live in Sackets and it was my first summer job, and you are right about the difference between winter and summer there.

That’s great! It really is a fascinating place. We stayed in Candlelight Hotel a short walk away. Sackets is beautiful during the summer but there’s an altogether different beauty to the place during the winter. Fabulous place, would love to go back. Glad you spotted it!
