The dark wood - The concrete stream

And so i creep through the darkened forest, treading carefully,
Tree branches lay on mulchy earth, leaves above like a sea of green,
Light reflections fall inbetween, each tree carefully positioned in the living ground,
The whole place is alive with creatures, sounds and smells, my senses awaken,
The broken pine, the fresh dew morn, crispy winds and icy chills,
Crunching through freshly fallen leaves, birds singing, scurrying animals on forest Ground, winds whistling through the trees,

Noise of cars polluting the air with intoxicating gases, revving engines speeding past,
Louder and louder the peace and naturalness is gone, lost and left behind,
Manmade concrete and steel, hard and cold,
Streams of cars, lorries and bikes flow like the river that ran there before.
