I like:
the abstractness of it
The limited colour palette
The eyes, nose and mouth contrasting with the rest of the shapes
If this is what happens when you paint without planning maybe you should consider doing a planned painting to see the difference.

Andrew, no its not a self portrait.
Davoid, i have done planned pictures before and they dont usually turn out well, i just like to get a blank canvas and something will pop into my head and i go with that.
