At the southern end of Loch Ness lies Fort Augustus, one of the towns on the route of the Caledonian Canal in the Highlands of Scotland. This little dock steers the boats into the canal where they enter the five staircase locks to continue on their way through the Great Glen.

Photo as is, except for slight crop.

Bermuda born so I occasionally get “rock fever” and have to travel – especially to France! Mostly use my Nikon D200, but also use a Sony Cybershot DSC T90 and a Lumix DMC-LX5 for quick shots.
