It does make you sit up and notice that well, when someone says “egg-shaped”….. they could mean practically anything! ;O) I think it’s ace for that reason and you are so right about the details.

Beautiful work! It is simple, clean and well balanced. Lovely use of light with soft shadows and it is well composed using the rule of thirds. congratulations on your feature in Still Life ~ Food Photography and Still Life Paintings
