Raspberry City with a Misty Morning Sky... by

Raspberry City is an amazing place to live, with two residential buildings, rooftop gardens, a community school, book and coffee shop and a park-like feel. Here is it in the lovely morning mist, with a warm cup of cocoa waiting for you!

I truly hope you enjoy your day in Raspberry City!

This could be Barbie’s Dream House! It really does remind me of the original “dream house” my sister had in the 60’s … it was all cardboard … but these colors seem to remind me of it. Love it Tricia!

  • So I google the Barbie Dream House, there have been a few over the years…my favorite is the orange/yellow A frame house. I think this one must look like the “Barbie Dream Town House” circa 1980’s. I also found a 60’s version, which no one bothered to make color coordinated…gosh. I will keep looking if I find the one you are all thinking of, I will get a link. My favorite Barbie toy as a child-Barbie Dream Store, it had fashions and cosmetic, jewelry…it was AWESOME!

I guess this is the one I recall my sister had …

but I remember it being much more about PINK.

After seeing these photos I sorta recall the brick patio and barbecue. I mostly remember getting a kick out of helping to “fold” the furniture together. As I recall when you got it, quite a lot of it was flat and you had to put it together. I’m not entirely certain it folded up into a box before you assembled things. I seem to recall all of it being flat at first. OK … my memory is a bit foggy on it … but I was only about 7 at the time and that was at least a few years ago. I’m pretty sure that was our first Christmas in the Suburbs … LOL … 1963. It was very white as I recall too. It snowed in feet the day after we moved in and that was around Thanksgiving.

So now you need to start doing fold-up houses for your paper-doll girls!!!!!!!!!!

Oh … you have to scroll down towards the bottom of that page to see the photos … and I remember having to put the sliding celophane door in.
