Ode to propanolol
I decided I should do a painting to show how I feel about my hands – I have an essential tremor, that is only helped by beta blockers (propanolol) or alcohol! Not very practical but more fun.
Anyway, I find that painting also helps – I am rubbish at straight lines, but I go into a sort of meditative state and my hands relax a bit.
So this is a small painting that took a long time, but was quite therapeutic

Well done! and I remember propanolol I think I took it years ago for migraines as I used to get them after major long bike rides (I used to be right into triathlons). You have delicate looking hands :)
Catherine Hadler replied

This is beautiful! .... my right arm’s all fucked up and I have mixed feelings about my hands. Although I wish some drugs would help (or at least add a touch of the psychedelic) :)
