This winter painting is based on a photograph by a good friend- Sally Outram, who kindly gave me permission to use her prize winning shot as the framework for this unashamedly nostalgic look back to winters long gone. This was a time when the winters were colder (!) but the snow was fresher and however cold outside..you knew you had a roaring fire and a piping hot cuppa waiting back home..remember and enjoy!
This 30″ × 20″ watercolour was painted with Windsor & Newton artists paints on Saunders Waterford 140lb NOT.
