Another from my ‘Inspirations’ series. This is based on another Grimshaw painting. The figure enhances the peaceful tranquiity of the scene and illustrates the difference between pleasant solitude and loneliness.
This was painted on Saunders Waterford 140lb NOT with W & N artists watercolours.
