A Young Old Street Girl 29/1/91

In a dark old alleyway in a big city town
Lives a girl who’s been roaming around
Sleeping in rubbish bins and parkside seats
And now she has become a girl of the streets
Begging for handouts to keep alive
Selling her body just to survive
Calming her habit anyway she can
Flying so high she cant seem to land
She walks the streets just looking for a hit
All night long she is on her feet
Streetwise and cunning she uses her wiles
To make the money that makes her smile
Until she reaches those times in life
Older than her years that are filled with strife
Until she’s found alone in her bed
A young old street girl alone and dead
