Took this last year on a brief overnight trip I did into Blue Lake in the Main Range, NSW on my way to pick up my daughter from Canberra who was keeping her cousin company after an operation.
The day before was incredibly windy deteriorating into white-out conditions with my eventual arrival at the lake coming somewhat by surprise. My campsite was a bit on the exposed side too so I didn’t sleep as well as I would have liked but when you wake to a blue sky dawn in such a beautiful place the hardships melt away and life is truly wonderful.
