Just got back from three days of waterfall hunting on what has proven to be the most successful trip I’ve ever had. I discovered the largest un-mapped drop I’ve ever come across (23m high) as well as 8 other waterfalls containing a total of 34 seperate tiers.
This one was on a map although un-named and for me was the prettiest one I came across. That day I visited 10 drops, 6 on this river (one of them a 47m high monster) and another 4 on tributaries of it. Only two were accurately maped and in the valley itself I could find no sign of previous passage so I think it would be safe to say that very few people ever visit them. This baby is 9.4m high.

Australia’s rugged landscape is an important part of my life and over many years I have explored some of the more remote parts of it on foot, ski, kayak and rope. I usually travel alone so I can take my time capturing the essence of these places without distraction. Life slows down and after a while I feel like I begin to merge with the land, nature takes me into her confidence and changes me. I hope you enjoy the fruit of these excursions.

Hi Travis
Great photo of the falls with the fern on the edge of the bank, you must have had a great time finding anf photographing all the falls, I think this one is the best . Great photography my friend.
Cheers
Rod.
Had a ball Rod, thought it would only take me a few hours to explore this area and as it turned out I didn’t get back until after dark, great way to loose a day.
