Webb Bridge by Travis Easton
Clear

In many ways I feel this shot marks an epoch moment in my journey as a photographer as I feel it is the first shot that I have truly achieved the quality of a large format image. I shot it with my 5D mkII with a 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, and my Really Right Stuff pano head and it is made up of 12 shots, shot 10 degrees apart then perfectly stitched together in Photoshop CS4.

So far have sold a 26″×55″ print and a 30″×70″ framed print of this one. It looks absolutely amazing a this size.

Not available through redbubble if interested bmail me.

For other shots in this genre check out my Urban Landscapes gallery.

Australia’s rugged landscape is an important part of my life and over many years I have explored some of the more remote parts of it on foot, ski, kayak and rope. I usually travel alone so I can take my time capturing the essence of these places without distraction. Life slows down and after a while I feel like I begin to merge with the land, nature takes me into her confidence and changes me. I hope you enjoy the fruit of these excursions.

Stunning work mate, this is the best image I’ve seen of this bridge, the exposure and geometric balance in the composition is just perfect. I’m with Don, print it and then I hope you sell it to some big juicy fat cat! :))

  • Big Juicy fat cats here I come… The greater than 180 certainly gives it a fresh perspective. Frankly I’m amazed at just how flawless current stitching technology is, thanks mate.
