Beauchamp Falls

I stayed for a week in the Otways with my family in September at Apollo Bay. Most people would be put off by the fact that it rained everyday that week but for me it was heaven as the waterfalls were in fine form. This particular waterfall is a popular tourist walk about 3km long that I did with my 4 and 7 year old girls. I’ve visited the falls a few times before but never with such a spectacular flow of water.

Took this one in September and it poored everyday that week with localised flooding so yes its not often you see them with that much water.

Wonderful shot of Beauchamp Falls Traivs.
I wanted to get this angle/comp, but it just didn’t work for me during the floods.
This is awesome, well done !

Thanks Varinia, took this one with my fisheye so the perspective of looking vertically down at the rocks at your feet while simultaneously looking at the waterfall is certainly a perspective that only this lens can see. Thanks as always for the comments (and features ;-).

Beautiful Travis! I have tried to photograph this beautiful falls a few times but haven’t been able to get a shot I was happy with.
At first I thought you must have used a 617 Fuji or similar. Alas mine spends all of its time in the cupboard these days.
