What a truly magnificent shot – The light inside the cove is just spot on perfect. The way the roof is lit and frames the shot perfectly is gorgeous.

this one never ceases to amaze me

I was this shot before I joined the Bubble, and I thought – “Wow, this is so great!” Now I came accross it again, and again I think “Wow, it is so great!” What else can I say?..

Ah the Prom, thank you for taking this photo, pure magic! I lived in an old farmhouse overlooking Wilson’s Promontory for $10 a week back in 1978… I loved it, the view was sublime with rainbows stretching across the sky almost every day. I could see if the waves were working from the bay window but had to leave in mid June when the winds blew in straight through from the Antarctic.

What a magical place to live, the Prom is such a special place. Was the farmhouse on the isthmus?

There is an old phrase in photography and it goes something like: “don’t worry too much about the scene just do a great job capturing the light”. You have done a stellar job of that in this shot and others of yours I have peeked at.

Yes, young one. You must stay away from the dark barrelled lenses of Darthkon and stick with those lovely light colored L lenses of the good side of the Japanese camera manufacturers. Funny thing is, I never even saw a Star Wars movie until about 10 years after they came out. I still have nit see the last one, though my boys want me to rent it and watch it with them, Maybe some year. Keep getting down and dirty taking your amazing shots!

My boys are into that stuff, but I think I will pass. a true Jedi master does not use animation but only special effects and maybe photoshop! Are you into the HD video on the Mark2? Any good?

Sounds like way to much work, Travis and I am sure my antique 3 year old computer would not be able to handle it at all. Yod
