Larkin Cove Panorama

Larkin Cove Panorama

Another view of Larkin Cove, my favourite beach anywhere. It is simply perfect, small, gorgeous white sand, beautiful boulders, flanked by green headlands with a great view. It is in a remote wilderness with no tracks to it and would seldom recieve any footprints except from the occassional sea kayaker or intrepid bush walker. A true natural treasure.

Magnificent Travis – what a magic spot and the way you’ve composed this for the fish eye couldn’t be better.

I like this fish eye view , if i recall it was back in the eighties when i was on a shoot for a firm who hired this type of lense from London special delivery at great expense so that they could get a unique scoop for a magazine .
Would it be fairly new then ?
Anyway back to your photo i like many love the sea and beaches , but not the crowded holiday type ,this what i would seek out , SO like the others thanks for sharing your secret.

    Hi Nicki,

I don’t know when fisheye’s were first developed but the first 35mm fisheye’s were created by Nikon in the 1960’s. Wikipedia tells you more here

    Cheers

Excellent and unusual view Travis,it enhances the scene even more ,it’s obvious that you put a lot of thought in to your picture taking ,and that’s very commendable .Cheers !!

I was really careful when getting to this vantage point to not leave footprints on the beach. Thanks for the comments.
