Ikebana is the art of Japanese flower arrangement. Each part of the arrangement holds meaning.

Strong clean lines, bold design, silent simplicity that speaks volumes….

Ink brush pens on desert sand colored paper.

I studied illustration and design at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. I am married and the mother of two wonderful boys; one is a college graduate and the other is currently attending college.

I am inspired by the elegance and simplicity of japanese ‘sumi-e’ and Chinese ‘shui-mo hua’ painting. I love the grace and beauty of bamboo.
