This piece of art is dedicated to John Lennon.
“As One” is an original drawing/painting using a brown archival ink brush pen. It is a ‘one stroke’ style of drawing.
The original was painted on 8-1/2″ × 11″ medium weight, desert sand colored paper.
I am inspired by the elegance and simplicity of japanese ‘sumi-e’ and chinese, ‘shui-mo hua’ painting.

I studied illustration and design at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. I am married and the mother of two wonderful boys; one is in college and the other in High School. Since they are growing up, I have more time to myself which I enjoy channeling into my drawing and painting.
