This is an unedited photo taken of a summer trip. I loved the feel of this. I was shopping , on my way to get my nails done, and then I turned the corner. This was staring at me and I took the shot. going up to your room right…............love it….....the stairs are beautiful…......looks like a room in one of my cottages….........lol,,,,,,,,,, the Biltmore…......ha ha….i call it my house, my cottage that i rent out…........on occasion when the commercial comes on….....ha ha, me the Queen, will be having filet minyon at the Palace anyway…..........ha ha ha , wont you join me for crumpets and Tea…............my dear?

I read your story, and I think the man actually makes the scene. This is because, for me, there is a lot happening in this image. (That’s not a criticism btw.) The man helps to ground it, especially since he is standing in a focal point, being the meeting of the diagonal lines. In situations like this I sometimes encourage walk thrus of passersby and shoot both with them in the frame and out. I am always surprised. I’ve always thought the old city railway stations in the US are marvellous and I’d luuurv to shoot Grand Central and Union Station!!!

I purchased this as a print, and it turned out amazing. My friends are really thinking it is an image worth being bought! The colors turned out so bright and the man really sets the whole focal point. I am shocked that I took the shot!
