An American Dream

We worked every day, Sunday included, until at least ten o’clock at night. I remember it was an event when we quit work on Christmas night at eight o’clock to attend a family reunion. ~ Walter Davidson, one of the founders of Harley-Davidson.

Tim let me hop off the back and shoot this one evening. I couldn’t resist the combination of light and shadows, and the railroad track disappearing over the horizon.*

Thanks, eshalane! We just got back from a ride a few minutes ago, actually, went out and shot a few games of pool then down to the Custard Cup for an ice cream. It’s a nice way to cool off on those hot days!! We’re just relaxing a bit before the “big day” (getting married this Friday!) lol. ☺
