At Southport on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Australia, there is a lovely little dog friendly beach, and the windiest break-water I have ever walked on… and then this, sand pumping jetty, which was HUGE… It was the first time the sun broke through on what was otherwise a miserably raining weekend. So I was very glad to be able to get at least a couple of shots.
3 shot HDR, Taken with Nikon D90, Sigma 10-20mm lens, ND400 filter, processed in Photomatix Pro.

I really think these b/w’s lend a sense of drama. I always like them. Color is fine and I enjoy those as well but the individuality of the b/w is arresting.
Thanks Donna.. I almost left this colour as the colours were really nice, but I think you are right, it has more impact as a monochrome.

this is great Tracie, and it’s like our path….. sometimes unseen…but, still, there is a path…. Hugs friend
Exactly true… which is why this image was used for my blog post last night. I am not sure where I am headed now, but I do know that it’s somewhere special.
