Several times a week I drive past these peanut crops just outside town, in Kingaroy Queensland. They always catch my attention and I think it is because of that lone tree in the middle of the field. It’s fascinating to me that when they cleared the land, they left this one tree standing… but I am so grateful that they did… it makes for a great shot.
3 shot HDR taken with Nikon D90, 10-20mm sigma lens, polariser, processed in photomatix, finished off in CS5.

Super shot Tracie. The repeating curving crop lines offset by the lone tree is great composition and the tones are so dramatic.
