Located approximately in the middle of nowhere in particular (actually in the South Burnett in Queensland, Australia) I finally stumbled upon the historical Boondooma Homestead. Built in the 1850’s, it’s a fascinating place to visit… and a wonderful photo op :)
3 shot HDR, taken with the Nikon D90, 18-200mm lens, polariser, tripod, processed in photomatix.

That is beautiful, I may suggest cropping the top part of sky just a bit to me its a bit distracting.

  • It’s funny you say that. I was looking at this image and the top part was cropped out due to the screen being scrolled halfway down…. and I was thinking the exact same thing… but now it’s already been uploaded and already been featured, I don’t want to delete it and reload it. But I do appreciate the suggestion. I also thought that if I cropped it, it would put the house in the middle of the image, and as it is already, it is more in keeping with the rule of 3rds (not that I am one to obey all the rules :D)
