Blurring lines between love and sin........

My entry for the Blur Lensbaby Challenge
When I shot these images, the focus failed on one and worked fine on the next…....so I blended both images, erasing most of the top layer…..
Wish I had a lensbaby, but this is as close as it gets!

Blur

Take me down to where you think I belong
You can’t rescue me, you ain’t that strong
You don’t know no better,
I’m not going to tell you any better
Can you turn this pale water to wine
If you can do that baby
I think we’ll be fine
But you can’t raise a sinner
And its not me but honesty thats died
Blurring lines between love and sin
Can’t tell where you stop and where I begin
My bodies sending questions to answers you can’t give
If you throw me a line I’ll only drag you in
This ain’t New York City and the ice is thin
Kept me up all night
I’d be gone by the moment it struck daylight
You believe in fate but now you think there lies
I never meant to hurt a soul alive
I’m still searching for what you can’t give
And the further I wonder the less i know that is
Blurring lines between love and sin
Can’t tell where you stop and where I begin
My bodies sending promises that I cannot keep
Well we are bluring lines between love and sin can’t tell
Where you stop or where I begin
My bodies sending question to answers you can’t give
or can you give?

Tracie, you KNOW how this hurts my neck…
Cause you KNOW I`m standing to the left of my monitor with my head cocked as far as it will go to the right. It`s like it`s a problem I have looking at any image where a face is not vertical… I need to see it in a conventional position. And when it`s your face it`s even worse cuz I dig looking at yer face anyway.

BUT… I can look at this objectivly enough to say that everything else about it has all those qulaities I love about your work… your framing and powerful use of negative space, your subdued tones that somehow just look so amazing as they blend from one to another… the way your composition seems to flow through the frame (yup, your hair is amazing the way it leads us in…)… and most importantly, your romantic vibe that matches the verse you always integrate. It`s a way of linking emotion to your art that you always manage to do with such soulful elegance.

As for the lensbaby thing… I`m looking at this and thinking hey, who needs one? You`ve kinda nailed the effect without it.
    Cool take!
