Tracks of Life

At times the tracks of our lives lead us on a path through the darkest reaches of our minds.
The mist covers the memories of moments we need to pass, let go of, move on from.
Our fears scream from the darkness, clawing at our souls, grabbing at our hearts.
If we pause we are lost.
The journey takes us through the darkness into a light filled with hope.
Rays of security fill us with warmth and
the strength to drive forward into a world bright with love

    Hmmmm, I love the short perspective in this, Tracey; you obscuring the light might make one wonder if you’re blinded by it. I don’t so much see train tracks as a bridge, high up, surrounded by wispy clouds and that magical light. I love the black and red dress and your upright posture. There is so much symbolism in this! Fantastic image.

    Thanks sweet Jan…...although as much as I wish I had this svelt figure and poise, it’s actually my daughter in law to be, in ‘that’ dress lol….......but you’re right, I created it as if it was myself and my feelings, so she is metaphorically me. I love your perception of this, it’s very close to exactly what I was attempting to portray :) xx

    No, it’s all good, no train coming, lol!
    The original images I shot were of an empty train track, a cloudy blue sky over my house, and some added ps brushes of realistic smoke and my son’s fiance to top it off. No-one was harmed in the making of this image lol ;)
