Happy Mothers Day!

I was woken early this morning by my son tapping at the front door, his new kitten in one hand….....and a grocery bag full of goodies for breakfast in the other…...
He cooked bacon and eggs, made coffee, gave me my presents then let me take photos of his kitten. The only way to get ‘Cookie’ to calm down was to place him on my son’s back….
The result was….. they both fell sound asleep (my son works nights) on the floor.
It was the best morning, I love him with all of my heart :)

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see ‘em bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue, clouds of white
The bright blessed days, and dark sacred nights

The colors of the rainbow
Are so pretty in the sky
It’s also on the faces
Of people goin’ by
I see friends shakin’ hands
Sayin’, “How do you do?”
They’re really sayin’, “I love you.”

I hear babies cry, and I watch ‘em grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Gorgeous lighting really shows both son and his “owner” in gorgeous detail, and their position is precious.It sounds like your son drove after knocking for the “day – very precious memories for the future, Tracey.     Thanks Jan….......yes I am blessed…..he drove an hour to get here and was very tired to say the least, I was surprised he lasted as long as he did. If he could have seen me squashed up against the window trying to get the both of them in the frame in natural light, LOL…....the lens touched his forearm at one stage and he jumped in his sleep and I nearly fell on top of them both in fright hahaha!! :))
