wow … what a story this one weaves in my imagination … I love the contrast of the floating white chiffon and the harsh almost masculine boots. But more than anything is the hint of the woman’s face and her haunting expression. Disillusionment … yearning … dreaming … thoughtful … it’s all there and more. I could write a book about this image, I swear. Very touching.

Whoa! You have made the subject speak through you and directly to my imaginations and feelings. Yes… yes… you’ve started with the highest of craft here… but to the artist craft is a means to an end. To the craftsman… the image is the end. I’ve often thought that art is a group dance, while craft is a solo… Thanks for including me in this wonderful group. I’m moved by the universality of this portrait.

I love this set with the boots and frilly fabric/dress. Reminds me of my daughter when she was a teenager – now she’s a mum of two – but she was into these Doc’s.
