Abandoned farm 1 by Tracy Friesen

Currently unavailable for purchase

We came across this old abandoned farm in Alberta one afternoon, set up high on a hill, in complete decay, abandoned with couches and washing machines and other articles still scattered throughout the buildings of the farm. One wonders what happened to the people who lived there, that they would suddenly leave so many of their possessions and walk away from this large farm.

Very nicely framed, including perspective of height of the house which lends it that much more importance! Love the textures and color contrasts between the grass, the house and the sky! I feel a sense of serenity and being all alone! Lovely work Tracy! : )

  • Thank you so much, Sandy, I really appreciate such a thoughtful and detailed comment!
