The Warder

As he stares into the eyes of the daring spider he knows he is in danger. But behind his back is his home and nothing must pass him which threatens that. Standing his ground he demands that the spider stops and comes no further. The bridge has been there since time gone by, always protecting this single entrance into the last magical forrest. As time goes though by these creatures become bolder and bolder as the world around changes and distorts. So little love and care is left now that hate and suspision spreads like a disease.

However this warder knows that there is always hope in the form of new life and with it renewed hope. That a new generation born will see what peoples sins have rained havoc on our one and only world. Through working together as a whole perhaps those cracks begining to show might just be healed in time.

this is a beautiful and whimsical image, (LOVE that elemental little boy!) but the story is full of the sadness of humanity and the wounds we create for ourselves and our planet…. LIke the words say, I pray that we all “might just be healed in time”.....
