Untouched Beauty

This picture is 100% untouched, i came across it this morning after the rain had stopped and then i brought it into the house. I have not used treatment of any kind on the picture and i dont have filters either as my camera doesnt take them so i used a bit of imagionation really to what i could do instead rather than relying on computers for this one. Im really pleased with the outcome and i hope you guys all like it too.

Very unusual, Sam – they look like “micro-arrows” in an archery target to me! From the technical point of view, I love the water droplets, the central one especially draws the eye, and use of negative space on the right side of the image add to the composition.

I did want to give the picture some focus to it tho i had thought about trying to have all the drops in focus but my camera doesnt seem to be able to macro focus on all of them at once, still new to my camera so mabey im not hitting the right button? i used super macro for this one so mabey in just marco it would be able to focus on all, any ideas?

the colour variants n texture truly fabulous ¬!!
my macro setting is not al that good i cant seem to get this close in focus but it does take time to get to know a nu camera or rather fior it to get to know u

thanks karirose, my poor wee daughter was pulling on my arm going “come on mummy” but i had got distracted when i found out i could do this but i made it up to her for leaving late today with a special lunch :o)

This is splendid! The closer you are to your subject, the narrower the depth of field. That means it’s going to be harder to get everything in focus the closer you are. To get more in focus, make your aperture smaller (you’ll have to expose it for longer and will probably need a tripod. With a macro, ANYTHING in focus is good though, the softer areas just add to the artistic effect as this image proves.

Fabulous! Great perspective and clarity. love the colors you managed to capture, unaided. I now have a camera that accepts lenses and filters, but am doing no better than before, other than the SLR aspect gives me fewer blurry shots, so don’t fret over what you do have. it certainly works well for you. I think it may be your eye…

thank you linda! your right its wouldnt be the same shot it everything was in focus. Im working on trying to get it all infocus but im not confident my camera can but im going to give judys advise a go and c what i come up with!
