thanks wendella, i just softened the tone around the mare so she became a bit more focal and that was it. I wish i was its owner if i was i would spending every minute i had with it and out riding. I had a good bit of involvement with horses for a while but i have had to put it on the back burner for now unfortunatly and miss the interaction loads.

Lovely shot! I really like it when the focal point of the picture is not perfectly centered. I think it makes it more interesting to the eye. You achieved that nicely with this one what with the horse to the side and the majority of the branch to the other side. Nice.

she deffinatly looks like she has some cobb in her and a bit of draft in her. She has the classic feathers on her legs and chunkyness to her and she is taller than what she apears to be in the picture. I would love to have tacked her up and gone for a hack but unfortunatly im not lucky enough to be able to afford one :o(
