thanks! to get more practise in i bought mass bunch of flowers with a mixture of types of flowers mainly to practise water droplets but they didnt turn out very well but i did do individual shots of the flowers. Got one or two more i like but havent decided how i want to display them yet.

Yeh your right deffinatly, im also going to enter it into a mothersday competition in the selective coloring group which i just added to profile.

I love the varying focus aspect! I so love depth of field within a subject and I love this shot! I guess I need to stop being lazy and start using my imagination for backdrops instead of taking what’s there already. I’ve seen too many good shots from others showing the contribution of a carefully crafted background. Thanks for pointing that out for me. ;-)

thanks for your feed back, to be honist out of many shots this one is my best. I enjoyd practising tho with different settings on my camera in peace and quiet and not worrying about getting up really early next day now its the weekend and my wee girl is staying at her nans. So instead of a drinks out on the town i chose to stay in wi the camera!
