Living is easy with eyes closed

Misunderstanding all you see
(Lennon/McCartney)

People are often misunderstood, because they look different, act different, are different. Because everyone does things differently, accepting people for who they are is not easy, but essential. I’ve been learning a lot about acceptance lately, and I realized that I was expecting more than what someone close to me could give me. It was a light bulb moment, and I knew that accepting this person as she is might mean an incomplete relationship for me, but for her it means just being able to have a relationship, and I’ll take it.

Words are not just words
they are kisses
on the lips of silence
that speak of your essence

and your words
are the most lovely kisses

“accepted for who i am would be good enough” Have thought the same thoughts so often when i was going through a hard time in life which made me a different person, and some could not understand the change. As i find more of my balance i worry less about being different because i no longer need them to accept me. And the funny thing is that this is exaclty what brings the acceptance..

Still it seems we people prefer to be in a group, and often the group decides on what is normal.. and accepted.. too bad so often we don’t ( want to) see the value of those we think are different.
Great work Tori, shows the feeling of being secluded so very well xx

  • Finding it all very hard to believe, thank you for understanding and for your valuable input.
