    Beautiful view Portia. I have seen it only twice and am lucky to be able to remember it. The first time, we left late, made it to the chain ladder and had to turn back, hiking most of the way down in the dark. The second time, we climbed up the ladder for the view atop Half Dome; that is when the high winds and lightning started. Now I am content to admire the view from below :)
