Hi Maddy, sorry for answering Jerry before you, but I guess you know by now how I feel about Florence! No offence intended my Dear Friend. I think you remember this from DPF. It is also one of my favourite shots. Thank you for visiting and leaving such an encouraging comment.

G’day Anthony!
It’s been ages since I’ve seen your work – my time on the net is very limited. You say it was luck that you caught this image. I think, however, that it could only have been the eye of an artist which first saw the potential here then composed and captured and brought it to an appreciative audience. You haven’t lost your touch! A very impressive gallery! :) george
Anthony Vella replied
Hello George…...you flatter me! Ok I must admit that I saw the potential, but it was there ready for me to see and capture. Thank you George, always a pleasure to have you visiting.
chinet

G’day Toninu,
You have worked with the light extremely well here mate.
A very interesting collection and arrangement of produce and I like the emphasis placed on the eggs by the diagonal path of light.
May I suggest that you cut off a strip along the top to bring the top edge of frame down to where that green leaf on our left joins our left edge of frame?
This will eliminate that unnecessary “dead” area across the top, further strengthening the composition.
Good focus, depth of field, contrast and lovely rich colours.
Good work that man! (And my thanks to the hens for theor hard work.) 8-)

Anthony Vella replied
G’day to you too Dennis. What you see here is what God presented. The picture is untouched. The Sun should be given credit for the lighting. I see what you mean about cropping some off the top part. That makes good sense, however I don’t think I can do it on this image, or can I ?
Thank you for your visit and comment my friend. Your tips and advice are always welcomed.
Dennis Gay
G’day again Toninu,
If you wish to carry out my suggestion of cropping the top off, do it to your archival copy, (you DO have an archival copy!?), make the usual RB high res .jpg copy and simply go into Edit in RB and load up the new image. All info will be saved in RB for this one.
