My Beautiful Wife

Tony Moore

My Beautiful Wife

Used a high ISO, just experimenting, gives the portrait a grainy feel. One of my favourite shots. Love the light through the window.

Hi Tony – don’t know how missed this one – it is beautiful – i love the tones and as you say window/natural light is the best I always try and use it (can’t think of one with flash actually). Thanks too for your comments – always appreciate them, Deb

You know what I love about this? “My Beuatiful Wife” – simply the fact that you title it that. It’s a lovely shot, but the sentiment behind the work makes it beautiful.

    Nicely done, great portrait!

  • Tony Moore replied

Thanks you Dennis, my wife’s made up with it, I also think by cropping it slightly, I might make it more intense. What do you think?......

  • Dennis Rubin IPA

    Dennis Rubin IPA

Yes, Tony, I think a crop eliminating the arm shoulder might be perfect, as the eye MIGHT go to the light arm and not the face (focal point)

Awesome capture of a beautiful woman! Agree with Dennis above though, my eye was drawn to her shoulder before it settled on her face.

Lovely light on your beautiful wife. I agree with your idea to crop the shoulder; I think the photo would then move from great to perfect and mesmerizing.
