Winter Comes
The last leaves fall and Pan as the Stag is being called to step back beyond the veil. This is my representation of Samhain (Halloween) and is in nature the coming of true winter.
Black acrylic on canvas. Do not miss the Goddess behind the tree…

Fantastic interpretation of the season. Has the look of a woodcut and the goddess is depicted beautifully as well!

Beautiful work Mr. Tony. Your style stands out proudly and just begs to be examined. There is such a wonderful sense of movement, shape and character; where the abstract forms look more alive then their real-life incarnations. I love the boldness of the thick black shades and the elegance of the more subtle and flowing strokes., esp the branches.. Those falling leaves are perfectly placed too.
I couldnt help but feel you put yourself down slightly in your profile, and you really shouldn’t. This work is as captivating, creative and wonderfully executed as any other work i’ve seen on here…
I personally adore your style and cant wait to see some more. Very well done Mr :-)

Adam,
What a comment to leave… which took time and effort and is received with absolute gratitide. My style developed from an inability to create the actual images I find bouncing around in my head and art started to change at last from a struggle to… a wonderful escape.
As the year blossoms I am sure I will be using more and more black paint, (I have no real aversion to colour, but it does involve rinsing brushes during creations) and I equallu look forward to seing your work appear.
The reaper really is brilliant.
Thanks again.
