I am strolling through the street market at the Comboyne Village Fair and spot this beauty hanging around the bric-a-brac stall.
What a bargain I think to myself:
She dresses well, always keeps in shape, never nags or asks questions and will hang around without complaint while you are at the game or “working back late”.
On the other hand, moonlight strolls and dancing cheek to cheek are a little strange, she won’t do laundry and household chores, she’s lousy at cooking and other important activities.
There’s something missing and definitely a question mark about the head!
I think I’ll stick to my crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living doll….Ah! There she is at the jewellery stall.
There are approximately 800 people on the Comboyne Plateau, near Port Macquarie on the mid New South Wales coast of Australia. In the Comboyne Village there are less than 200 residents with about 600 on the surrounding plateau.
Once a year the peace and tranquility is shattered as thousands of visitors drive in for the annual village fair.
