250 year old Tuscan stone wheels on display at the entrance to Rangihoua Estate Olive Farm on Waiheke Island, in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand, it is only 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland.
These wheels pulled round in circles by teams of oxen were used to crush olives to produce olive oil in Tuscany, Italy.
This contrasts to the automatic press used at Rangihoua nowadays (see partner image)
