Blend of two of my photos, colour adjustments and vintage texture added in PSE 9
The horse is a selection from a shot taken with my Pentax Kr DSLR of the statue at Deloraine Tasmania of the famous 19th century thoroughbred racehorse and stallion “Malua” which was bred at Calstock, Deloraine. Malua was THE most versatile Australian thoroughbred race horse in history. He won over distances ranging from 5½ furlongs to 3¼ miles (1,100 – 5,200m).
The selection was moved on to a background shot taken with my Pentax DMC-FH1 point & shoot of The Grange at Campbell Town in Tasmania’s midlands.
With adjustment to lighting and colours, a grunge texture was added to try to give the image a vintage effect (Texture is Kim Klassen Paper Stained).
