This photo was taken at the eridge heavy horse day 2008 & part of the show was a falconry display & this youg lady was on receiving end of this hawk who seemed to like landing on peoples heads, Believe it or not the hawk left no marks on the young girls head.

Wow. Great shot. Not sure if she looks happy or not. I think I would have been happier if the bird was facing the other way. LOL.

Blimey! What a shot (love the camera in the background! There will be a mirror shot somewhere!). I’ve had a barn owl on my head, or rather on the large headband I was wearing, but there must be some weight to a hawk!

Thanks for the comment, I have another shot of this with the camera in the back ground in focus I might upload it as it shows clearly the woman laughing :-(
