amazing hdr, if only….............

You have inspired me to get closer to this lighthouse for a better shot. i wish i saw this yesterday morning as i was taking photos of the newer lighthouse in the arvo.

Rugged masculine pole pokes forcefully into the sensuously emotional skies and (SLAP!)... Ouch! Um, thanks, I needed that.

This textures that inhabit this meticulous composition are contrapuntal in a symphonic sense. There’s a sweet gentleness up there in the NW quadrant and then the angry sworls all about the tapering and implacable tower that’s impossibly lit in its determination to break through the bass chords of a menacing layering.

This is a nasty, yet inspiring study in tenacity and ambition Toni. A work that is simultaneously simple and complex. Don’t see that this well stated in many places. And of course the palette of deep blues and green-golds reinforces the emotional thrust of that tower into the heavens. But I will quit now before I get another slap :-)
